Water Drop Patch
Water Drop Badge

This new badge was developed in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to encourage girls to become knowledgeable about watersheds and wetlands in their area.

Sunset Valley Farm is proud to be protected by the Brandywine Conservancy.  The Valley Creek runs right through our pasture and provides a home for a wide variety of wildlife, including Great Blue Herons, Egrets, Snapping Turtles, Canada Geese, and lots of Deer.   The creek has natural Brown Trout, Bass, Rainbow Trout and have you seen those huge Carp under the bridge?

Since our horses drink the creek water, we're very careful about the environment.  So we've created a program to help you earn your Water Drop Badge and learn about the creek.
