 joVanna Gerardi
 

Originally from Linden, Pennsylvania, joVanna Gerardi rode with Farra Phillips-Hillyard and learned equitation and hunter disciplines and earned CPHC Junior Rider of the Year.

joVanna is a graduate of the University of Findlay, where she obtained a B.A. majoring in psychology and concentration in equine studies with an emphasis on English riding. As part of the University of Findlay Horse Club she volunteered in the vet box at the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event Horse Show. 

joVanna competed on the IHSA varsity equestrian team in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  joVanna has taught equestrian riders from beginner to advanced and also has trained many horses. She is currently pursuing her master degree in clinical-counseling psychology at LaSalle University. Some of joVanna’s additional equestrian achievements include:
  • Competed in over 200 horse shows – from schooling to “A” rated.

  • CPHC and AHSA Year End Championships

  •  Clinics with Ronnie Mutch and John Roper

  • Head Trainer/Instructor, Sunset Valley Farms January 2009 to present
