| If you ever drive by the farm, you just might catch a glimpse of tiny Jacqueline walking an unusual animal down the driveway. You might take a second glance, and no it's not a horse, it's our llama Tomas (not Thomas, but toMAS pronouced the Spanish way).
Llamas are native to South America and are used as pack animals in the mountains. Llamas are shaved during the summer time for their luxurious wool. They are usally very aloof and unfriendly creatures. However, when we bought this farm, we were all bound and determined to make Tomas friendly. We took him out of the paddock for long walks and grooming. We fed him tons of treats and talked to him every day. Now, he will walk up to strangers, and if you are lucky, he just might let you pet him after giving him a tasty treat!

Everyone who visits our farm must be introduced to our barn cats, Campbell (orange & white male) and Mugsy (tortoise shell female). They are the reason you will not see any mice or rats at our barn. Any visitor can tell, from Campbell's weight, that they do a very good job at patrolling our stalls at night!
Campbell & Mugsy are brother and sister, and occasionally fight just as normal siblings do. If you are sitting still, you just might have one of them jump on your lap. Visitors are entertained when they witness one of the cats actually climb up and down our loft ladder. Our farm tennants sometimes get a knocking on their window from Mugsy because she wants to come inside to snuggle! \ They are as affectionate as they come, and even if you don't like cats, you will enjoy them! We are so grateful to have them part of our Barn Family!
