Horse Farm in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Sunset Valley Farm Equine facility located in beautiful in West Chester, Pennsylvania. We provide a variety of services throughout the year (boarding, Lessons, Birthday parties, summer camps, scout programs, and horse transportation.) Our beautiful setting allows for year round clean and spacious stalls, a lush turnout, riding areas, and recreational trails.

Horse Lessons
Tired of having lessons in overcrowded rings with dozens of instructors who pay little attention to detail and your child's riding ability? We specialize in teaching children in a fun and friendly manner that reduces stress and helps them learn quickly. At Sunset Valley Farm, we guarantee that during a private lesson, there will never be more than 2 instructors in the ring and no more than 4 students during a lesson.

Our instructors want each child to have the attention he/she needs to develop riding skills at their own pace without worrying about the other riders in the ring. Our lessons are unique because balance exercises are paramount, and the student learns how to ride with his/her legs and body with little or no reliance on the hands/reins. The basics of dressage are taught and once those skills are mastered, the student can learn other disciplines such as equitation, jumping.  Horse show participation is encouraged, but not required. Summer Camp is a big favorite, so sign up early!

Horse Boarding
Our philosophy of boarding includes:

• Customized Care: Each horse is cared for according to your preferences and horse's needs. With three options of boarding: Full, Partial Full and Full Care Field board, one is sure to meet your spefications.
• Consistency: Horses are most happy when they are given a consistent routine. They are fed and turned out within the same time frame every day by Maria or 2 other staff members. The grain never changes unless specified by the owner, and the hay comes from one hay farmer.

With 48 acres of open pasture and daily turnout, your horse will feel part of the Sunset Valley family. Birthday Parties
Birthday parties are serviced year round at our facility. At SVF we cater to your specific needs and offer a variety of solutions for your child's fun. Please see our Birthday party page for details, packages, and necessary documentation needed for us to host your child's celebration.

Summer Camps
SVF offers two summer camps programs. Our own camp offers an in- depth experience into the world of horses with riding and horsemanship classes. There are 8 weeks available and a student may sign up for a week at a time or the full season. We also offer the flexibility of daily rates for students who cannot spend the entire week with us but would like to attend for a couple of days.

Trail Riding
There are multiple trails located in East Bradford Township. Sunset Valley Farms is willing to trailer your horse to any destination of your desire. Moreover, there are small trails located on our property.

Gift Certificates
Want a special gift for that loved one and confused on what to get? SVF offers gift certificates that may be applied towards lessons, summer camp, trail riding, and daily leasing of our horses. Whether you are an advanced rider or a novice, we have a horse that will meet your needs.
